Raymond Van Dyke has been an intellectual and technology attorney for 26 years.  He is licensed to practice law in DC, MD, NJ, NY, TX, and the Patent & Trademark Office of the United States.  He is sworn before the Supreme Court of the United States, the Court of Appeals for the Federal, Second, Third, Fourth and Fifth Circuits, as well as the Federal Court of Claims and the Court of International Trade.  He is also sworn before before the District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of NY, District of NJ, and the Northern, Southern, and Eastern Districts of Texas.

Ray has served as a delegate to the United Nations, WIPO Committee on Intellectual Property and Genetic Resources, Traditional Knowledge and Folklore.  He teaches at Southern Methodist University, has taught at Texas Tech University and American University’s Washington College of Law, and served as a visiting professor at the University of Strasbourg, European Intellectual Property Institutes Network, Centre d’Etudes Internationales de la Propriete Industrielle (CEIPI).  He has also taught at Peking University Law School in Beijing as well as many other universities in China and elsewhere throughout the world.  He is the winner of the 2011 Patent Buddy Award for Excellence in Patent Prosecution.   He loves Science and Technology, learning about new innovations, and helping clients through the patent process.  A frequent speaker and conference coordinator, Ray also tries to build awareness of the benefits of a patent system to the U.S. and the world.
